Have just realised that I can combine Two good print shows in one (busy) day in London. The London Original Print Fair is on at the back of the Royal Academy from 23 - 27 April www.londonprintfair.com and the other I have already mentioned is the American print show in the British Museum print room.

The Original Print Fair is a truly amazing annual feast where international dealers bring high quality prints, and are quite happy for those interested to stick their noses right up to them. I do and have met totally charming people apparently happy to talk prints to someone who is clearly not going to buy. (Just looking at all the naughts on the prices is enough to give me heart failure.)

I see too that the British Museum has put some 180,000 prints on to an online database now live on the internet. www.britishmuseum.org Follow the links from Research collections to catalogues. Moku Hanga only throws up two, but there is more there I am sure if you hunt for individual printmakers. When you finally get there, it gives useful information, just takes a bit of searching.

I shall be going up to London from Dorset on Thursday 24 April and will pack both in. Feast of feasts.
