Hi Misty and all,

Welcome to Oregon and Baren. There are lots of galleries to visit -- be
sure to stop at Print Arts Northwest in the Pearl District -- a wonderful lot
printmakers there. The Chuck Close show is still in progress. The monumental
faces are reminiscent of Mike Lyon's amazing work. Barbara Mason has opened
a print shop here in Portland -- would you like to tell us a little more
about that, Barbara?

I know there are a lot of other things to address, but most recently -- the
man and his work -- we do not know what sort of lives the artists had who gave
us the beautiful works from ancient times -- the work has had to stand on
its own merit, IMHO.

It might be early, but what can we look forward to for our next exchange?
