Mike, you never cease to amaze! Thanks for your description of your process.
It is the enthusiasm and focus more than the actual details of doing that
impress me!

Are you going to be in Kansas City for the Southern Graphics Council 36TH
Annual SGC Conference March 21 - 25, 2007?

Just wondered, since I was thinking about going, but only if I can also
visit my favorite Kansas City artist studio!

Are any Baren-related events anticipated?

Hi, April, and thanks for the kind words!

I've never attended an SGC conference, but suppose that since I'm already
'here' this one ought to be my first...

Tell us: what're they like and what goes on? Can "ANY"one attend? Any
perq's? Inquiring minds want to know!

I took a look at the list of 'coordinators' and most are familiar names to
me.

You're always welcome here -- you know that! We can talk about particulars
more off-list -- seems like plenty of time to plan...

Best,

Mike

"Cape Cod Community College invites the public to join renowned painter and printmaker William (Bill) Evaul in the Higgins Art Gallery of Cape Cod Community College during his "Artist in Residence" through Oct. 6, with demonstrations on Monday Sept. 18, and Wednesday Sept. 20. This residency is supported by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.

"The highly regarded Provincetown artist, now living in Truro, is credited with being a key leader in the revival of the obscure and nearly lost technique of single-block "white line" printmaking that he will demonstrate during two open gallery sessions, first on Monday Sept. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. and again on Wednesday Sept. 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The artist will establish a studio in the gallery, located on the main floor of the Tilden Arts Center on the West Barnstable campus of the College, and welcomes the public to join him for the demonstrations." ... Don't we have someone in Cape Cod who can go to this and take pictures and report back? What a tremendous opportunity. If I lived closer I would be there!
Best to all,

Hello all,

I just received a phone call from our Robin Morris who was on his way to see
Carol Wagner and asked me to post to the list. Carol is in the hospital
undergoing heart surgery. They expect everything to go well.
For those of you who know them, please send emails of encouragement and best
wishes directly to:
carolwagner(AT)softcom.net

Thanks and forgive the intrusion,
Maria
