Barbara and Dan,
I have been using that same press for about a year or more now and it is awsome! It is my primary press untill I can upsize. If you have any questions, I should be able to answer them. (I also am a seller of these, so have access to all the tech questions and I can get spare parts easy to)
Cheers, Rob

Brad's dog and Aimee's rooster arrived yesterday. Great ideas on both, now I will have to create another portfolio for my 'kennel'. I put the roosters in an accordian style book and like the idea that they can be viewed all at once, if the mood strikes. I could post a picture on my blog but am still trying to figure out why it 'can't be found' on msn..Perhaps it was unused for too long .

Carol, I agree that it is most polite to have work in by deadlines. For the regular Baren exchanges with a coordinator it is more important, also we have new exchanges starting up through out the year, what do we do about 4 exchanges each year, it is not good to have them held up? But with the postcards we mail directly, no coordinator, and for me i am out of the country almost every year until June or July so it is impossible for me to send them before I get back. This year I will try, but if you want my planned multi colored print I may not get it finished before we go south, there is a lot to do here, including packing up and moving as well as packing for Baja. I could mail the card from Mexico. However, you might never get one. Once we mailed post cards to friends, they got them a year later. Be grateful for our marvelous postal
system. I did not do the year of the Monkey because I knew I would miss the deadline and than many others were as late or later than I would have been so i decided to do the cards anyways as they are such fun to get, to make and to send out. If that is a problem I will take my name off the list. But to me it is nice to have one really casual exchange.

Awesome on the metal and epoxy chop! Very interested to hear more from
others on chops.

Posted a proof of the chop I just made for a friend to the new blog. I
usually carve them out of hardened polymer clay and consider them
practice pieces for the day I get serious about doing them out of
stone. Want a local stone that works but haven't found any with right
texture/hardness.

Going to try to make one of my learning curve prints a dog and try to
do the exchange, assuming funky beginners' work is accepted.

Best to all, Grasshopper Katie
