Dave and Carol,
Thanks for the lovely story. I doubt anyone could read it without
clouding and tearing a little at least.

Barbara, why don't you sign your prints as you would a bleed? With
your signature in pencil across the bottom of the image. Being the
ultimate romantic, I've always liked the idea that many times one can
only catch the signature from the right angle or light. I've never
felt the signature diminished the image anymore than that on a
painting...

Happy Printing,
(Another, as yet, non-blogger, Jeanne!)

Hello

I have been just listening in for the past month or so, as I have been on
the ship that I work on, and haven't had regular access to the internet, But I
am ashore now, for a short time anyway.

Just wanted the people out there in exchange #26 to know that I am DONE
printing, so that they don't have to worry about one of the less active members
not coming through at the end- As I mentioned before, I seldom jump in to the
conversation- but I am always listening! I had to get the prints done THIS
month, as my schedule changed, and I have to work the entire month of October on
my ship, so to meet the deadline- NOW was the time :)

Also, I have been reading the posts regarding the ball bearing barren with
GREAT interest... I have a press, but it is a small one, and I am limited to
12"... Some recent work has been on larger sheets, 22 x 30, which I have been
printing by hand- with a cheap speedball baren. It works, But I am thinking
that perhaps a ball bearing baren might be that much better... I have looked at
them in the past, but only on the McClains page- I didn't know that they
were availible through the baren mall.

How in the WORLD do I decide which one is best for me of the 4??

Also, Has anyone had experience with the pin press that mcclains also sells,
especially side by side with one of these high tech barens??
