Nancy seems you used MSN my spaces just like I did. I thought I had pasted my link to the last digest, but it did not appear???? I wonder is mine restricted as well. I know Carol Lyons accessed it? Someone let me know.

Well, I have now changed the settings to public, so much to learn about this
wonderful (sometimes) technology. Thanks for pointing that out, Bette.

Should I send photos of my week teaching in Santa Fe to the blogsite? I
uploaded photos to www.aprilvollmer.com/IAIA05

I must thank Baren Forum for making teaching easy! Of course I order
supplies from McClain's, Alex is fabulous, but I also order some things from
Baren Mall, and I ALWAYS recommend Baren Forum and Dave's Encyclopedia for
follow-up information. Barbara Mason sent me some fliers, so I hope we will
have some new members from among my very nice students. The class was
offered by Don Messec's Makingartsafely, hosted at the Institute for
American Indian Art.

Since it is always a bit tricky juggling making art and making money, I
enjoyed the opportunity to travel to beautiful Santa Fe for a working
vacation.

Another Baren connection was meeting Lezle Williams at her wood engraving
reception at her coop gallery "New Mexico Printmakers." It was very nice to
see her new work, beautiful wood engravings, including lots of black, black
crows. She had organized a traveling show of wood engravers that included
our own Andy English (nice hedgehog!) and John Center. What a surprise to
find John himself doing demonstrations at the Palace of the Governors in
Santa Fe!

Thank you, Baren!

XO
