Charles is unhappy that there are no pictures of Tengu with the Wiki entry... Perhaps I did not make myself clear. There is a baren blog, I have posted a picture, the link is:
http://barenforum.org/blog/archives/member_introductions/index.html
I can do no more.

Annie

Thanks for your praise of the dreaded "blog" which I have yet to visit.

I am missing the usual banter of e mail Baren so to "be a part" of the Baren again, I guess I had better start blogging.

Hi Tom,

No complaint about your post ... just a complaint about the wikipedia ...
lots of hyperlinks, yet strangely lacking crucial visual information on
such an obviously visual topic.

Cheers ...... Charles

In response to the blog, I was confused too. Than one day i was exploring my MSN messenger and the tab that said MY SPACES. I went in and it was a blog area. I checked it out and it was soooo easy to just do it. So I downloaded some talk and a few pictures. I sent the link to the blog manager,it never did appear on the list. But than who knows if I did it right??? Anyway this is my blog. If I ever get more time i will add some more pics of my work. That is the difference, i can finally share pictures because I just never get around to building another web page, too frustrating.

In the past week or so I have had some personal experiences that lead me to say one thing about Baren. We have great leadership. We have kind and caring members. Problems and differences of opinion and misunderstandings have always been settled fairly and with kindness. So that said THANK YOU ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL BAREN VOLUNTEERS Without all the folks, whose faces we do not see often, who give and help and make this list work so well we could fall apart and disapear. It is wonderful because these floks are wonderful.

I have been reading the postings for some time, but never felt I am of the
same caliber of most of you. Then again, I need to get over that and introduce
myself. For the most part I work in linoleum block printing, with a side
of silkscreen printing (mostly for commercial reasons)

Occasionally I update my website www.haugdesigns.com

I am glad to associate with this grand group!

Howdy,

I'm new here, so maybe I'm missing the nuances of a tiff, but I have to say this sure is a creative group. 8-] I look forward to chatting and showing and seeing everything you guys do.

My take on the blog issue is that it will shake out to be a repository of art and that most of the talk will continue to go on here as folks get used to the new toy. I wouldn't worry. I LOVE to look at everyone's work, so keep posting it please!

Oh and BTW, I'm still having difficulty actually posting art. Is there a tutorial or a helpful angel to guide me?

Thanx,
Ellen Shipley, CA

Hi Doug,

Great work. I like your botanicals, especially the sunflowers. You have a
funny sense of humor. ;-]

You are entirely too modest, Doug. Your work is wonderful as those in the Exchange 25 will soon see...

Welcome Doug,

Don't worry, there is a wide range of art-making going on by Baren
members! You'll fit right in.

I really like your flower prints! (of course)

The prints from the new people that I see on the blogs are perfectly fine
and no excuses are needed for them! Thank you.
I have enjoyed looking, but no time to respond individually. So keep on

Gilda here again ,
I need a little help finding a framing company in New York ,that I can ship my prints to and have them frame there. As opposed to me framing here in Los Angeles and then shipping everything there.
If any of you can recommend someone I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I suggest you contact Dan Weldon, he may know some one to do it. Also, Takuji Hamanaka lives and prints there. He may be able to help.
Thanks
