Maria, WOW!!!! Congragulations. Your work is sooo beautiful. I think I
read that you used walnut. As I experiment now with woods I am now carving
a small piece of black walnut, amazing!
And your blocks are amazing as well.

Barbara, you can still access a link to the list of names for the 2004
Monkey exchange off the Rooster page or by clicking on the link below
directly.....I am working on updating the page with monkey images soon.

Congrats Maria! I like the tree project. And the paper is wonderful. Would
MJ be interested in selling paper to another artist? Me for example. You can
contact me off-list at connie@thecave.com.

Thanks, Connie

Maria, thanks for sharing your process with us on this project. It looks great! I have to tell you, being a person who often loves the artifacts of process as much as or sometimes even more than an end result, these blocks themselves are works of art and I hope you have the opportunity to display them as well.

bravo and congrats!

best wishes

I've been traveling in Washington state for the last couple of weeks and
flew to Eugene Oregon this morning to visit friends, now catching up on my
email and just read about the wonderful Jordan Snelzer Museum of Art.
Thankyou, Barbara, for telling us about it... Looks like I've come to the
right place. I will be going in the next day or so. Also will try to find
Robert Canaga's gallery.

Flying from Seattle this morning I read in the inflight magazine about a
show at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle..."Mirror of the Wood:A
Century of the Woodcut Print in Finland"" thru March 20. Sorry I didn't
know about that before i left there. Don't know anything about the museum
but their site is www.nordicmuseum.com.
