CONGRATULATIONS Mary on your acceptance in Santa Fe.
Thanks for all the comments on pigments. I will now happily use my powdered
pigments and not worry about them. Sarah I would love the book on pigments.
But the whole reason for the questions is the lack of mail service here.
Once we mailed postcards home to a friend from here in Baja, they got them a
year later. That is an example of how bad the service is, most of the
postcards we mailed never got home. People here just do not send and
receive mail. Also the art supplies are very limited. They seem to have
oil paint for pigment and that is about it. So i thought i would ask how
they might work for printing as then i can use some colors and get supplies
that at least give me prints.
Maybe I could boil my own linseed oil and mix it up with the powdered
pigments and get my own oil inks??? Now I am becoming a chemist, what next?
Today I will be carving.

I am comforted to know that I am in such "good company" with the late
mailing of Monkeys for '04. Yesterday the off-shore group went into the
mail......tomorrow, if it doesn't snow, all the remaining will be sent.
Now to start the rooster project!!!.........Atwood on Maine

When i took my first printmaking class back in the stone age we did in
fact make our own etching ink. Did it once never did it again since it was
easier and cheaper to just buy it from Graphic chem.

Another name for rooster is cock_____ shunga new year cards just
kidding
