I agree that LPE III should NOT be themed. I don't need anymore
excuses to procrastinate. But maybe in the future like LPE IV or LPE V
could have a theme.

IMHO,

Princess Rashid

I vote to leave it open as I am on my own little sub theme here and want to keep it going.

Steve, and others who are interested - the web address for the Large
Print Exchange II and III is at http://www.rst-art.com/lpe.htm Rudolph
Stalder is gracious enough to maintain the site for us and all the
details as to dates for sign up, due dates, maximum size, minimum size,
paper size, acceptable media, any life problems, current conflicts you
may have, etc. etc., can be found there.

And while I am here: OH MY GOODNESS, GRACIOUS, SAKES ALIVE! I am
dumbfounded at the amount of work and the professionalism of the
calendars, which arrived today. Enough cannot be said in honor and
accolades to our God of All Calendar Projects, the one and only Julio
The Magnificent. These are so wonderful. Even though some of mine
were intended to be Xmas gifts, I know the recipients will be so
thrilled when they receive these that the fact that two months have
passed will be insignificant. They are just going to be thrilled with
the prints - to heck with the calendar part! Though that is nice, too,
don't get me wrong!! : -} Oh, the work that must have gone into this
baby - hours and hours of exacting and careful craftsmanship and
attention to detail - I just can't imagine doing this chore alone. You
all should order at least one calendar and see for yourself, if there
are any left. You won't be sorry. Believe me. Do it.

Cheers,
Sharri

Sharri and everyone -

I totally agree. I got mine a couple of days ago and everything that I
was doing stopped until I could slowly absorb these calendars! The
binding, closer, mounting, presentation, everything as a whole are
wonderful! A round of applause for Julio!!--who I hope gets a vacation
after all of this. My goodness...he deserves it.

I have been lovin' the monkey cards folks! Wowzie. (mine will be
coming!) I LOVE them all. I dare not mention specific names because
I'm in the basement away from them all. But I want you to know that
every single one of them are on our mantel. They all get special
attention everyday.

Welcome to all newcomers. :)

Take Care everyone,
Bette.

ESTIMADO MURILO:

I read your message and I guess I Got most of it.
About the time for the deadlines in the exchanges, I think it is
appropriate, although of course it depends of the creative process of each
member.
And yes, I think the forum is plenty of ideas and topics to discuss. You
can "throw" and idea or subject related to printmaking and I'm sure there
will be someone to catch it and to give his/her point of view.

Dear Sharri,

I, like John would like these to remain as an Open Theme as I too would
like to work on something towards the theme I am working on for an
Exhibition (eventually!!)
