Some of us may have prints which are too large to place on a Xerox
copier--would it be o.k. to make a Xerox copy from a digital file or from
an inkjet copy? Or would the inkjet copy itself be o.k.?

what size is your self-portrait print?
Can't the xerox reduce it?
I have some works that I reduce
to A 4.
If not, I would like then to have
a xerox copy from a digital file,
because the show will be "Xerox-ART".

Murillo, does the copy you want have to be made on a Xerox (?) copy
machine rather than an Epson photo copier? I am confused about the
difference between the two. Can't we just scan in a woodcut and then
print it out using our Epson inkjet copier? In other words, what's the
difference between Xerox and photo copier? I thought they were the
same.

Juan, I would like to know your printing methods. To me it looks like
collage, woodcuts and perhaps etchings or solar prints. I did like them very much

Gayle,
thank you so much for youe attention and
interest, well, Xerox as a matter of fact is a
mark of a copier, a machine that reproduces an original,
and the Epson inkjet copier is used to print from the computer,
isn't, the image is scanned.
So the computer prints they are ok too but they are
digital prints, and I am concerned with Xerox-Art, reprodution
through the machine copier xerox, that is my research.
Nothing against the Epson reprodutions.
Xerox-Art is not only the reprodution of
an original, you can amplify the original or reduce it, you can
obtain the colors more bright, you can interfere,
there are the poetic of the machine.
Did you get what I mean?
I am very glad that you are interested in my project.
Please wright me again telling me if you get why
I am concerned with xerox copier.

I am afraid that I couldn't do it
because my printer is very limited
and not professional and I don't
have either colour ink.
It's all too expensive and....you know!
If you read what I wright to Gayle
you will understand better.
I'd like to say you are helping
very much just with your interest.
Now I know I will make what I want.
I am sure you can take self portrait print
B&W or colour and go to a xerox copier
machine and do two color copies, size A 4,
and send me.
I am asking for Baren, for the artists os
Robert C web site, for the Brazilian artists
of the Grupo Gravura ...
