On ebay, ending Wednesday 11/12 is the informative book: Toshi YOSHIDA and Rei Yuki's JAPANESE PRINT-MAKING: A Handbook of Traditional & Modern Techniques. I have been searching the internet, but you would not believe how hard it is to find something like that when you can't remember the name! On a side note... I just finished a big art show this weekend - the Southwest Art Fair in New Mexico. They ran 2 different TV commercials over the last two weeks - both featuring one of my woodcuts. I sold a lot of prints, got good exposure, and was solicited by several new galleries. Congragulations on your national recognition, wow! This is not Baren news but my traffic ticket was dismissed in court yesterday morning, yes you can do this yourself! Not sure I know the calligraphic style you mean But here are a few: Tomoo Inagaki featured cats. Sekino and Saito did some animals but are better known for landscapes. There is another Kawano Kaoru who also did figures and animals. Hope this is a help Joe _________________________________________________________ ***************************** End of Baren Digest V25 #2439 *****************************
