FYI, a good source for an original of either book (or of any book, for that matter) is www.abe.com, which searches the inventory of thousands of used book dealers across the country. That said, The Hiroshi Yoshida is currently listed at over $800 (yes, that's right, two zeros), which only goes to show just what an amazing resource we have in the Baren library...three cheers for modern technology! John, For information about print making points of interest in Montreal and Quebec City, you might do well to contact the "official" Quebec print makers organization: Conseil quebecois de l'estampe 7111, rue Des Erables, 3e etage Montreal, Quebec H2E 2R1 phone: (514) 525-2621 FAX: (514) 525-2829 email: cqe#cam.org web: www.cqe.qc.ca Montreal is WONDERFUL!!! So is Quebec City. In both places, be sure to visit the area designated as "Old Town", as many artists work and/or display their work there. Cheers ...... Our plans are rather loose we are going to take Via rail across Canada and then Amtrak back to Chicago. John Furr I will get back to you when i know when i will be in Toronto. john (no moss grows on my north side) center ------------------------------ From: David Bull Date: Sat, 25 Oct 2003 09:17:14 +0900 Subject: [Baren 23205] Re: book John Furr wrote: >Dave still hadnt put up all the prints from the book the last time I >checked. This had completely slipped my mind ... for about two years! I've now scanned them freshly from my own copy of the book, and have just uploaded them to the Encyclopedia ... Apologies for the 'slight' delay! (Thanks for reminding me of this, John ...) For those who want to check them out, the relevant part of the book is Chapter Four/Segment Five ... Point is, I had ordered a case for this exchange and obviously didn't use it. If the case still exists and there is someone in the exchange who wants it, please be my guest! I hope that now that life is back to normal hectic levels I can start participating again. Just read through over 400 messages in my email so I hope I'm back to current stuff.
