Baren Digest Monday, 20 October 2003 Volume 25 : Number 2413 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Mike Lyon Date: Sun, 19 Oct 2003 08:07:05 -0500 Subject: [Baren 23122] Re: pillowbook vs prints "In my opinion sending the prints back loose with an album, box, etc., and letting each of you tip the prints in the album or left loose would make everybody happy." I think I also prefer the album format -- but I also would like to have the prints mounted in the albums prior to mailing. That way those who opt to pay for and receive albums all have identical ones... We could have a 'tipping-in' party at collation time -- that'd be VERY fun! There are a number of ways to mount prints onto album pages -- any thoughts on how to do that? - -- Mike Mike Lyon mailto:mikelyon#mlyon.com http://www.mlyon.com ------------------------------ From: Jan Telfer Date: Mon, 20 Oct 2003 21:28:31 +0800 Subject: [Baren 23123] Re: Baren Digest V25 #2394 Dear Maria, >On Friday, October 3, 2003, at 05:04 AM, owner-baren#ml.asahi-net.or.jp >wrote: > >Finally a note on the philosophy of the project itself. Lucky gallery that wishes to procure it.... it would look fantastic as a centre piece in a corporate board room for a communications company or printmakers gallery or the United Nations centre table! I have my wall space already reserved for my print with a key page of names to pieces to put beside it, so when complete Maria would you please post the names including the new substitutes on the list please? I will also, of course, update the website with everyone's block's information and with the new blocks just as soon as I get them in. I have received Mike and Julio's block and my block is completed. There are four blocks missing, two of which have only this week been received by the brave "subs" who volunteered to pitch in. Needless to say, puzzle printing will be delayed until all the blocks are in. Thanks all for playing! Or have made any study? Show wht >youre doing on the webcam Difficult theme.... Do the figures must look >like Japanese? I have not started printing that one yet (I'm currently working on the mini-print exchange #18(a))... My figures for #19 will NOT look Japanese - -- I did take preliminary photographs a week ago last Thursday of two young women who enjoy modeling for me... My deal with models is that in return for their work, they receive a good example of any edition I produce from using their image. The three of us had corresponded for several weeks about the shunga exchange and I'd suggested the sort of 'erotic things' I wanted to see... Turned out they were much more imaginative, much more enthusiastic, much less inhibited, and much more curious than I will ever be! I learned quite a little bit about Lesbian love positions, laughed 'til my belly hurt, perspired embarrassingly, and took 125 digital photographs, most of which will never see the light of day, then went directly home and fell into the arms of my wonderful wife who made it clear she wanted to hear nothing about it... A few of the images are 'interesting' (the models LOVED them) and I am working up several for my exchange #19 print. They involve lips and tongues and very soft places and we'll just leave it at that until February 1, OK? It is unlikely that I will be printing these under the web-cam.
