I raised just over $5000 a few years ago by doing a Polaroid self portrait show People paid $5 each for putting up a self portrait in the window of the gallery. We had all the windows covered in a month and had huge traffic. People loved it. You could do digital, prints, etc. I am doing that free now on the web with the Look at Me! show. Also, I am sure some one in the group would volunteer to do a workshop on something for free, I know I would. If that is incorrect please post the deadline. The subject "Man and Fish" is interesting. I thought Marilynn would like that subject too. But I'm pretty sure the deadline has passed. I love bookplates. I wonder if the plans have been set for the 5th International Ex-Libris Exhibition or any other ones. Anyone know? I got the listing off the Crackow Triennial web site, which has a listing of printmaking opportunities and just assumed it was current. Sorry. I had been thinking of doing one myself.
