(I have an exposure unit and everything calibrated so it is pretty easy now, but getting it right took a while.) Anyway, my point was that woodblock is the only printmaking process which can be made to fit "simple and inexpensive" . I could go on, but a woodblock is calling my name, Sharri ------------------------------ From: Barebonesart#attbi.com Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2003 16:44:24 +0000 Subject: [Baren 21806] Re: Baren Digest V23 #2261 My only intent in my answer on solarplate was that it is neither inexpensive nor simple. While the details are sketchy at the moment, it will be a small and more intimate showing than the large exhibits we did back in 2000 (Exchanges 1-4) and in 2001 (Exchanges 5-9). I will probably select a group of prints representative of the group (exchanges 10-15) to go on display and then formerly announce the exhibit and participants next week. Print will be up for a month starting last week of June. Very finely cut hanga woodcuts with autobiographical themes. I'll bring them to the forum so you can all marvel at her good work and wish her well! thank you Kat!
