On the subject of great member sites visited, April's is always inspiring and stimulating as is our Maria's, whose apparent ceaseless energy and dauntless courage in the face of 'life happening' are quite astounding, and always more than welcome. Re the POSTCARDS 4X6 (any orientation ok) should be the largest paper size sent (the image plus border being 4 x 6)....the image can be a bleed or with a border... Re the other calendars.....uhmmm....I had posted before that 11H X 8W should be the max...but a vertical orientation is probably not best suited for Landscapes ? uhmm ? what to do ????? I had wanted to use standard 11X14 stock for printing the calendars but is there any reason why we can't go to a square format and let you do any orientation you want. ? With so many Baren projects underway and more to come {;-) there is no reason for anyone to feel bad about not joining the calendar project....many people contribute in different ways and it all helps the group. thanks....Julio ------------------------------ From: Mike Lyon Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 16:01:51 -0500 Subject: [Baren 21352] Baren Summit... I leave this Thursday to spend 12 days in Japan with my sister and Mom and Dad. I'll return the 29th. Are you thinking about attending the Baren Summit June 14 through the 22nd but haven't registered yet?? NOW would be a good time to go ahead and register, I think. Time is running out and I think we ought to set a registration deadline of May 1, don't you? Register at http://www.barenforum.org/summit/ I'll be setting up tables, building more stools and chairs, cutting some Toshi Yoshida style practice blocks and generally running around like a chicken with my head cut off in order to prepare for your visit as soon as I return, so if you've been thinking that you'd like to join us here in Kansas City but just haven't gotten around to registering... Please register BEFORE MAY 1 -- then I'll communicate with everyone registered in order to schedule slide presentations, and our other fun stuff in early May. Spencer Museum visit will be Thursday, June 19th. Thanks! - -- Mike Mike Lyon mailto:mikelyon#mlyon.com http://www.mlyon.com ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V23 #2195 *****************************
