It was a favorite haunt of mine in my younger years, and houses great treasures of the Mesopotamian and other civilizations! It continues to be a center for the study of those cultures and you may find their "What's New" section in the web site especially interesting in light of the past days. They have always provided delicious adventures for the imagination, but continue to have remarkable programs, films and courses of study. I agree that there could be themes for many exchanges here! ~Mythology, for one! And man-bull figures in Nimrud, Ishtar gate to Babel, ziggurats, etc. Extremely interesting > > Minna ------------------------------ From: "marilynn smih" Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2003 20:12:25 -0700 Subject: [Baren 21348] Re: Baren Digest V23 #2189 Okay I plead guilty, I am nuts, I have seizure disorder.
