Baren Digest Friday, 6 December 2002 Volume 21 : Number 2051 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "marilynn smih" Date: Thu, 05 Dec 2002 09:21:52 -0800 Subject: [Baren 20055] Re: Baren Digest V21 #2050 Thank you Mike Lyon for putting up 14a on the web page. It would seem Barbara Patera has not received her prints. Barbara I think most will send you one, so put up your address. Mine will be in the mail next week because I leave for Portland witnin the hour and will be out of town until next week. I would collect them but this loss is in the states and it would be faster for her if everyone sends her a print. It seems highly irregular for our US postal service to loose a pacakage that went such a short distance. I am sad for barbara and when you look at the prints hers is outstanding. She has one of yours so lets try our best to get a complete set to her. Just think how you would feel, print all those prints, send them out and get nothing? In true Baren spirit let us get together and send a print off to Barbara. I agree about the speedball ink, Dan Dew those colors in your print are amazing and very rich. It goes to show that it is the artist that truly makes outstanding work not the product. Everyone, amazing work, very nice on the web page. I always used a nipping press to print engravings before I had my Vandercooks. They worked a treat for small blocks but larger blocks were a problem. ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V21 #2051 *****************************
