Subject: [Baren 18877] Vandercook press question 

Hi all,

I seem to have a chance to grab a free Vandercook 13-28
press. The person who owns says he only used it once, a
number of years ago but seems to feel it is in working order.
He says this thing weighs about 700 pounds so before I
make arrangements to haul it around, I was wondering if
anyone knows anything about this type of press?

Any advice on what I should be wary about?
Does this type of press work well for block printing?

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
