Baren Digest Tuesday, 6 August 2002 Volume 20 : Number 1918 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "PHARE-CAMP,PATTI (HP-USA,ex1)" Date: Mon, 5 Aug 2002 09:05:05 -0700 Subject: [Baren 18858] RE: Baren Digest V20 #1917 Printmaker Chad Hoffman's website: http://www.jollywoodchopper.com/woodcuts.html Dave: Thanks for the above website tip. The artist's work is beautiful. I never thought of making woodcuts from my drawings. I also draw musicians, but only because I can do studies of natural expressions with subjects used to being stared at so they don't get self-conscious (and unnatural) and usually don't even notice I'm drawing them. ~Patti P-C ------------------------------ From: ArtfulCarol@aol.com Date: Mon, 05 Aug 2002 14:34:25 -0400 Subject: [Baren 18859] Re: Don't miss this one! I did enjoy the jollywoodchopper (Chad Hoffman) woodcuts so much, especially since I've been without a computer for 3 whole days. Cropping effective and often humorous. I love his marks...
