Dear Charles,

I obtained my graduate degree through studying with Keith and have a copy of
his book.  In the short term, I could probably Xerox you specific chapters
while I check around with Keith and others to see if I can get a copy for
you.  I don't know what sort of work you are currently doing, but I am
moving from S. Dakota to New Mexico and extremely downsizing my studio.  I
will be selling my vaccuum frame, exposure unit, darkroom set up, Imag-on,
etc.  Contact me off list if you are interested in any of those sort of
things...

On another note...  I wrote the list a few days ago and I don't think my
questions ever appeared.  I would be interested in seeing a complete list of
what sold at the New York firemen's benefit show and the total amount of
monies that was donated.  I also would like to know the full name, address,
etc. of the firemen's group that is receiving the funds so I can update my
web page.

Charles - methinks you fret way too much about the attribution of the

Ahh, maybe I do fret too much ... but it was a really great statue for me 
at the time. And I see that it still sells well. Wish I could create an 
image that is so endurable.

The artist was Francisco Ramo, born 1926. I do not know where the original 
is, but you can buy copies in various sizes all over. He also wrote a 
satirical poem to the effect that man could not have descended from apes, 
because the behavior of man is so bad he could not have come from the apes.

It was fun tracking it down.

   thanks for your suggestions   i had thought about including art history   
(im an art history buff myself)   and a bit of writing      but the critique 
i hadnt thought of and i think its a good idea   i have much to work out yet  
 these are high schoolers that have been thrown out of regular school for one 
reason or another   so i would like to make this a fun and positive 
experience for them      learning how to express their opinons in a 
supportive  and informed way  is very important
   this will be an intense 2 weeks so any further suggestions you have will 
be greatly appreciated
