Where would you like us to send our prints? Mine will be ready soon and I am willing to send my 31 plus extras for individual sales. Sounds like John is well on the way with the memorial portfolio. Mine is designed but not executed.....I got a message this AM from someone on Prints-L who heard about the memorial and wanted to know more, I gave them your email John, after I told them what I thought was happening. We got a couple of mall orders so that means a little money for baren, which is good. The mall manager is ready..sort of. Carolyn Staley fine arts is coming to Portland for the vendor fair at the print symposium in October and I emailed her and asked them to bring some Hasui prints so I can see them in person....I am so excited about being able to look at real work without glass and frames. Wish I could afford to buy a few....I know, time payments.....but there are so many prints and so little time. Guess that's why we have museums. The Gilkey Center will show you work any time so if anyone is in Portland and has a favorite artist, you might make an appointment to see the work if it is in the collection. Wanda and I did this one day and it was sure fun. Cut and print.. I have used only pigment and not watercolor, but it can't be too different. Use a tiny bit of rice paste, one little dot in several areas of the plate, put the ink on with a brush and mix on the block. Good luck.
