Baren Digest Saturday, 15 September 2001 Volume 16 : Number 1556 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: GWohlken Date: Fri, 14 Sep 2001 09:25:02 -0400 Subject: [Baren 15695] Re: Baren Digest V16 #1555 -- benefit prints Will we want to keep our prints a uniform size as in exchanges, John? Our biggest size is Oban and I feel these prints should be at least that large. I also hope we don't make this an exchange. My opinion is that it would be helpful if all extra prints we make should be made for selling for the benefit and not go to each other as an exchange this time. If we can figure out where these exhibits are to be shown we can plan the number needed and make extra available for further sales. We can always show them online, and what about selling them from the Baren Mall with the text showing that the proceeds will go to whatever group or groups that will benefit? I kind of like that idea. If we agree to a way to package them -- shrink wrapped on archival backboard and the print, itself, slipped into archival photo corners, for instance, then they'd be good for mailing. Then we'd have to figure postage and packaging into the price. Is this too complicated? Is the Baren Mall the wrong place for this? Ideas, ideas. John needs ideas. John, I would be happy to help you in whatever way. You're in Chicago and I'm in Ohio, though, so I don't know what I can do, but if you let me know, I'm here. I think it is because you mentioned "bounced" in the subject line. Do you have Marco's new address? It is not the "speeding bullet" address any more. I will find it here somewhere........ahah! It is the old address of . You can send this back through baren without the "bounced" word in the subject line. :-) Wanda Here's the bounced message: bemason wrote: > > Marco, if you get this, my messages to you are bouncing. Thank you for lifting my depressed spirits on this day of gloom and reflection.
