Hi Dan - I'm trying to think of a way to keep Baren Exchange #9 in tact
while still accommodating to an extended group.  This exchange is very
specific as to paper size and orientation.  If  it is opened will the same
requirement be in place for the exchange or will the rules be different?
What about the timing?  What are you thinking? Bea (your friendly #9

Subject: [Baren 13127] Siberian birch for hanga 

Hi everyone,

Taking a few minutes out of the studio and away from my blocks to let everyone
know that Yuri's blocks work great for the Japanese Woodblock (hanga) water-based
pigment printing process. I've had them wet for a couple of days now - no
buckling, no bubbles, no warping. They work really great! Thanks Yuri, for a
great inexpensive product for our printmaking method of choice.

#8 and my snakes are coming along. A few more late night tussles & I'll be
getting them into the mail. I bought the Chinese snake stamps the other day, & I
have my envelopes. What a great lot of wonderful snakes have been arriving -
Bridget, yours really made me smile! And what a great print, is it reduction or
multiple block? Or both?

Wonderful weather in Oregon yesterday & today. Bright cool & sunny - makes me
want to start digging in the garden, but the back of my brain says: wait! It
could snow next week! 

Dave, your show looks wonderful, wish I could just pop in & visit. I think the
lighting is really super.
