Le, thanks for the nice words, and Stephanie, don't worry, I don't get
offended by e-mail, I didn't mean to sound annoyed when I wrote about
digital printing. Over-excited, perhaps. Politeness reigns, but let's not
let it prevent us from expressing our opinions. Life would be too dull.

But back to woodcut!

Thank you Karla for the info on Frogman's, I 'm sure Keji Shinohara's hanga
woodcut class will be great this summer. And thank you Michael for the
printshow link, let us khow how it goes. One of the best things on Baren is
this kind of info.

And speaking of info, get this, I just got my new PLASTIC BARENS from
Woodlike Matsumara! It took just about a week to arrive from Japan. They
are not as cool as the $40 white plastic ones you can get from Daniel Smith
 (I forget the Japanese name). They look pretty functional, though, and at
$4 plus shipping (which about doubles the price) they are a bargain for the
beginner. I'm thrilled to have them for teaching.
