You over estimate our local school districts They do not seem to consider fine art classes to be worthwhile continuing education activities for teachers, even art teachers. Locally, such classes have been offered in the past. I would like to find something in the next few months. I am interested in short, intensive classes, and willing to travel. I'll check with other schools like Portland State U if I have to wait until summer, though. Check it out! The web site is at http://www.thinker.org/legion/index.html Jean Eger-Womack ------------------------------ From: Legreenart@cs.com Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2000 22:18:59 EST Subject: [Baren 12247] Re: Baren Digest V13 #1225/ Hand Coloring Prints One other way of hand coloring I have used is to overprint with a monoprint. I have done this using a watercolor monoprint as well as oil. I print a proof of the key plate on mylar, then lay that face down on a backing sheet. I use it as a guide for coloring a second piece of mylar that is the monoprint plate. Watercolor monoprints are allowed to dry, then printed on dampened prints. I like the "printerly" look of this method.
