Baren Digest Wednesday, 11 October 2000 Volume 13 : Number 1176 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Salsbury Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2000 00:10:33 -0700 Subject: [Baren 11666] Great Suggestions! Wow! What great suggestions for the card exchange. I especially like Julios do it large and chop it up. As an added bonus I figure I can strap each piece onto the back of a rodent and send it on it's way. Better make it a large rodent or the snake will consume it before it arrives in some areas. Now where is that .com line I sign on? (I have been working with mixed media on sheets and pillowcases lately, myself.) I was wondering if you starch your fabrics prior to printing. I was just the other day talking with an artist/curator by the name of Brad Cushman, and he said he did a series (very different in nature from your work) on pillowcases and sheets, and he had his fabrics starched first. He said the cloth handled beautifully, akin to paper. I look forward to working with cloth more. You inspire me to think differently! best, Andrea. ------------------------------ From: "Jean Eger" Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2000 23:42:30 -0700 Subject: [Baren 11668] Re: Baren Digest V13 #1175 charset="iso-8859-1" Thanks, Dave. Julio, I remember beginning to read that post, and surfing on over to Sharri's web page. I guess I never finished reading it. Oops! Missed out on my favorite hobby this time. Gives me more time to think about #9.
