I got this off the prints-l list. It might have made it here already, but I'm just going through old posts looking for keepers. Dwight > Keiko Hiratsuka Moore has writte a book called Japanese Woodblock Prints: The Hiratsuka Technique of Traditional Moku-Hanga" which was out of print for a long time, but has now been reprinted. I already have a Studio Work Note in progress to illustrate this curious phenomenon, but in the meantime, images are up. Anyhoo, have a looksie: http://www.printmakingstudio.com under Latest Works, or directly: http://www.printmakingstudio.com/fullsize/redrockcanyon.html http://www.printmakingstudio.com/fullsize/joshuaforest.html Dear bootcampers, I am green with envy. That's one nice thing about not doing reduction prints- you can experiment all you want! Variation within a series is one of the things that I find most interesting about printmaking. Repetition and variation intertwined... ******** Also- I too have some new prints up, viewable at: http://www.geocities.com/pedrobot2000/newprintst.html - --Pete ------------------------------ From: David Bull Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2000 00:25:42 -0800 Subject: [Baren 10124] Re: Happy bearded guys ... > Dear bootcampers, > I am green with envy.
