In just a few days now, Julio will be hanging the 80+ [Baren] prints in the Chicago Exhibition. I heard from him just this morning that at the moment, he still has only about 3/4 of the 'bio' information that he needs for the display. Those of you who were in the first four exchanges _please_ help him out with his preparation by getting your info to him as soon as possible. Still confused about what's going on? We've just put up a new 'info' page that should help you out: http://w.com/forum/exhibitions/skokie.html This guy is working day and night now to get this huge exhibition ready - - please don't leave him to do it all by himself. Thanx Dave P.S. Also confused about where all the 'miscellaneous' web pages like that one are located? Never remember where to find stuff on the website? Remember, you can always get to them by checking the [Baren] Administration Links section - accessible right from the main page at w.com ... ------------------------------ From: Julio.Rodriguez@walgreens.com Date: Sat, 25 Mar 2000 22:33:34 -0600 Subject: [Baren 8986] Jack's dragon Hey Jack, your dragon-kite got here Friday. Now, you got to tell me that this is not your first woodcut print ever....because if it is....I am throwing all my stuff out...... tools, inks and eveything and moving to Hawaii to take some lessons from you....this is quite a nice piece of work. I can't carve lines anywhere as fine as yours. Send me some details when you get a chance...I counted about eight colors, at least one gradation.... plus some embossing....right ? Well worth waiting for !!!!!!! Now _everybody_ is going to want one of these dragons. _Everybody_ ...
