Don't worry Dan, sometimes I think I have a good idea on that and sometimes I think I have no idea at all. I have 50 tree ideas, but the three ideas I have for ten colors aren't working as well. This idea is very challenging!! I'll get it eventually! I find the ones I work the hardest on tend to be good, but the tree one, with ideas flowing is seducing me away. I need disapline!! :) But I really think this is a challenge for us all. Don't worry, I won't be laughing! in the same boat, Christina __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! Funny guys. Perhaps Dimitris or Valerie can help me with a little greek problem I have at the moment. According to Callimachus, Erysichthon (whose name means 'earth tearer' and hints at an earlier agricultural significance) cut down the sacred tree with the purpose of building a banquet hall to feast in with his buddies. Which is why Demeter says to him something along the lines of 'Ok boyo, go ahead and build your banquet hall, you're going to need it' Not quite as poetic as the original but you get the general idea. Then she curses him with an insatiable hunger, which my Md informs me was probably cancer of the pancreas or diabetes, and watches him eat himself to death. See I have been doing my homework. So my problem is, what would an ancient greek banquet hall look like? In wood remember, from the sacred tree. All the extant early architecture is in stone. Callimachus was writing around 240bc. So Valerie, on your trip if you find any ancient wooden banqueting halls, please take a picky for me. Same to you Dimitris. I have found the floor plan for an archeological site banquet hall. (stone) Anyone else got any pics of this subject for me? Or any ideas? In the mean time I'm designing my own.
