Margaret,
Thanks for the advise. It is so obvious, I am embarassed I didn't think
of it. When I started etching a long time ago I did the same image over
about 50 times 50 different ways. I think it was tulips. I'm sure
everyone in my classes was wondering why I was so obsessed with them. Of
course, it was the processes I was working on. I am trying to go to "C"
before I do "A & B". Old age does make you stupid sometimes.

	Graham Thanks that list is exactly what I needed. I thought I remembered
something that had your pallet on it but could not find it when I went
back. I have read so much in the last two months about Woodblock cutting
and printing I have forgotten where or even if i have read it the list is a
perfect reference. and by the way I agree completely I would rather (and do
)by one good tool than 3 mediocur which will have to be replaced soon and
won't work well the tools I have purchased so far are top quality and that
is the reason I only have a few. thanks again

Well...,
if the meaning of the word gives you any further hint then here it is:
sulFite
1.a salt of sulfurus acid containing the divalent, negative radical SO3
2.an uncharged ester of the acid.
The rest is just Australian orthography.
