I have so many things swirling through my mind that if I live to be 300, I could not possibly put down all the images that I live with. Every day I see or think of something new. I used to run to my sketch pad and capture them but too many sketch pads were cluttering up my studio and my mind. Music has always been a very important source of inspiration for me. And I have always tried to capture the feeling of the music. And since I paint, print, people , I can sit and watch people in there various poses, attitudes, moods etc. They are also an inspiration to me Now if I did nature studies, that also would be endless. I guess what I am trying to say is; Tthat if you are an artist you should be constantly bombarded with images that you hope someday to put down on paper. Andy.s trip was certainly a once in a llfetime inspiration and I am looking forward to seeing the results of his inspiration. There must be some kind of a quote; "An artist without inspiration is like a ................" We are waiting, Graham.
