You seemed to capture a great likeness of the late Mr. Ito (the master carver). Was that your source of inspiration ? Although the article was not about Mr. Ito, I believe we both thought that it was a chance to honor him by using the late master carver as a model. I changed his glasses from the plastic frames to wire-rims to fit into the time period. Thanks again! - -John A. ------------------------------ From: "Jean Eger" Date: Wed, 7 Jul 1999 13:05:01 -0700 Subject: [none] GRaham, what a great little animation! David, I have a CD ROM that has my art work on it and I have Eudora Pro 4.1 as my E-Mail set up. Is there a way that I can download some of my woodcuts to you? Anytime any of you want to get an image to me, there are two recommended ways to do it. (1) Try sending it to me as an email attachment. (NOT to the [Baren] list itself - send any attachments to my personal address.) Email attachments are quirky, and this method may or may not work. (2) Upload the image(s) to the woodblock.com ftp directory, which is located at: ftp.woodblock.com/incoming Most modern browsers can 'upload' files if you give them this address. If your browser can't do it, then get one of the (free) ftp programs such as 'Fetch' (for Macs) and 'Cute ftp' (for Windows). If these don't work, you can always resort to the third option - snail mail ... Dave P.S. The girls are still very busy ... this time not with scanner but with hammer and comb. Their latest effort for the Encyclopedia should be ready tomorrow ... ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V8 #621 ***************************
