I've not been there yet, but its supposed to be pretty nice They are at: 23 Union Street Edinburgh EH1 3LR Scotland Phone # is 0131-5572479 Graham, I only wish I could have attended your workshop! Shucks! I even checked into flights, etc., but alas, its just not feasible this summer. I hope you will be doing another... Your place looks lovely Kat, It was your e mail and website that I thought expressed a certain sense of humour. Maybe some of your works too although I didn't get to see them all. Do you miss SD? I have always been curious about that part of the country. I miss the states very much and am considering moving back for a spell. Bea Thanks for the crazy list. Too bad someone does not take over the reigns for Ray, he really was interesting and kept coming with all those neat ideas! So how about a self-portrait exchange in the future? Wouldn't have to be a "literal" self-portrait, but it'd make a darned good theme, don't you think? Just a thought for mulling. A site worth going to in finding archival supplies for matting, framing, hinging, shipping, etc. is http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com Health to all, Maria in LV ------------------------------ From: judy mensch Date: Wed, 16 Jun 1999 09:06:12 -0500 Subject: [Baren 4667] Re: Baren Exchange #1 MGC show Julio: We can only show the work of the Baren members that are sending $20. That's because MGC has a rule (I don't really agree with it) that only members can show at MGC. For full membership, people pay $35. plus workshop space or for classes. We have a special members rate of $20. that only allows us to put up the Baren Portfolio show. Judy ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V7 #598 ***************************
