I used their black pigments to make intaglio inks... very high quality stuff... the blackest blacks you'll ever get in ink... makes Dan Smith Stiff Black & Traditional Black look grey... Brad A. I forgot that the Lower East Side Printshop http://www.printshop.org/home.html had another image of mine up as 'on sale'. The black and white circle is a year end sale project I did for them. It is a great neighborhood printshop where I work when I need a press. They have a link to my regular page. I will be giving another woodcut class there this summer. (I'll send John Amoss the details when I get them.) They have some other good programs, if anyone is interested. I do get a lot of ideas from snorkeling, (I like to do the easy stuff, not diving). And I didn't catch any sharks. I am sure they work better than my metal sharkskin, but it sounds complicated, not to mention smelly. Graham, did you study with Toshi Yoshida? I keep hearing bits and pieces of this man's story. He came to the West Coast to teach in the 70's? Who's going to take Graham's class? Sounds better and better, even sharkskins will be there. Dave, thank you for posting georgia's print! Snakes in her hair! Is it Medusa? Several people have mentioned that they have printed out the Baren encyclopedia, but when I try to print out a few pages (on tools, for example), no matter what I try, it only prints out one page. I do not have this problem with other web sites. Anyone have any ideas? Jack Reisland ...also, now that I have in all the orders for David's video, I can purchase the tapes and begin the duplication tomorrow. They should be going out in a few days. I will post again when I actually send them out. ------------------------------ From: David Bull Date: Mon, 05 Apr 1999 18:10:01 +0900 Subject: [Baren 3845] Re: help? Here's what you have to do if you're having this problem - which only occurs on pages with frames. Before you call the 'Print' command, simply click once on the screen somewhere in the _body_ of the article itself. You should then see a thin 'highlight' line around the edge of that area, indicating that Navigator now recognizes that 'frame' as the 'active' portion of the page. Once you see this, the 'Print' command should work properly, and give you the entire page ...
