I do, Chris, and so do a few other Baren members. And I guess I do it that way because I like the immediacy of it and I like working out my designs with black and white. My subjects are sometimes dark and work very well with this method. But I like to use Japanese paper, especially kitakata and I like hand burnishing. I use a wooden spoon. * * * Here's a question. Could a person use rollers and water based ink on dampened sized paper and get good results without using paste and pigment? * * * Welcome to Baren, Michelle.
