Howdy folks,

	I was out of town for several days (Connecticut and Boston) and
I'm just now catching up with the e-mail.

I'm very pleased to announce that thus far the following eighteen people
have finalized their commitment to contribute to the first [Baren]
portfolio exchange:

to be included in this exciting project (there are at least six people on
my list who have not yet made their formal commitment).  Time is ticking
away!

Gayle had written a few days back to offer the services of her Vandercook
for a colophon or some such insert.  A very generous offer.  I think some
sort of insert is a great idea.  At the very least, I think the portfolio
should include a sheet listing all the participants alphabetically.  

Any other thoughts?  Dave (as our fearless leader and the man responsible
for providing this forum), would you care to write up something to
include in the inaugural folio?
