(I believe Mr. Ferrer is no longer with us, so this may be an older show in repeat.) It is part of the National Geographic series and introduces you to masters of Japan's age old arts. One of them is the story of a Mr. Abe (sic), papermaker. It also shows a bell maker, Kabuki player, sword maker, and a wonderful 90 year old lady who makes cloth and dyes it in indigo. Each of the stories is fascinating and HIGHLY recommended. I saw it yesterday so check yout tv schedules this week. You might try mica with oil base inks as well....I know it is used in acrylic paint. I have used graphite based inks that are a bit metallic, but not shiny.
