I'm learning how to read the logs that are provided by the woodblock.com server, and there is a lot of interesting information in there. As an indication of just what people are most interested in reading about, here are the ten most accessed pages in our Encyclopedia. #1 - Japanese Wood-cutting and Wood-cut Printing - first section (by T. Tokuno) #2 - Newbies' Journal - Page four (Ray Esposito) #3 - Some suppliers in the US (Phil Bivins) #4 - Printmakers active on the Web #5 - Contributors to the Encyclopedia #6 - Making a Print Without a Key Block (Matt Brown) #7 - 'Collaborations' - Western designers with Japanese craftsmen #8 - Basic Carving Tools (David Bull) #9 - Turn of the Century Printmakers #10 - The Relief Print (Ernest Watson) Interesting that Mr. Tokuno, who has only been in there a few days, has already passed everybody else. But also interesting that not many people moved on to read the second or third sections of his book. I guess all those illustrations make it a tough download ... Dave P.S. Actually, as of today I guess I should start using a different signature when posting to this [Baren] forum ...
